This is the same pattern as last Monday’s giveaway. It looks very different in these rich Java Batiks, donated by Maywood Studios. In Jan 1’s Ninja quilt, I used 2 fabrics for the squares, and then alternated rows. This version has all the same fabric for the squares. There are several more ways you can shade the squares for the GOLD MEDAL pattern.
