SUNNY SUNDAYS Flowers 44″x 60″
I often use donated fabric to work up an idea for a design. I would rather sew than draw. I used this flower fabric given to me by Andover Fabrics to try out sewing pairs of 3 1/2″ strips together, then coming up with an arrangement of sections cut from the sets. I decided to go with a more orderly layout when I eventually designed SUNNY SUNDAYS. If I decide to revisit this pattern with scraps, I wouldn’t hesitate to give it the scrambled look.
