I love little 6 fat quarter quilts–always fun to see what I can do with a nice small group. GOLD MEDAL keeps all of the prints right side up, shows off the prints, and gives a little break with contrast or background squares. Sometimes I do more than one fabric for the squares–there are many ways to play. This fabric was given to us by Andover Fabrics, and I put their metallic chambray with it for the background squares.
