PERFECT MOMENT The Wordsmith 40″x 52″
In my continuing pursuit of finishing up projects and making do with leftover and mis-cut pieces, I made this nearly PERFECT MOMENT. I usually have 10 fabrics, and I was short one. I only had so much of the light fabric, and wanted to use it all. And the pieces were cut only 9″ tall, instead of of 9 1/2″ or 10″. I was able to make it work by not staggering and trimming some off the sides on the rows. The rows have only 7 pieces across instead of 8. And since the pieces were short in height, I definitely needed the lattice between the rows. I found some dark green 3″ strips in Mom’s stash. It’s all done, and several odds and ends are used up!
