CANDYLAND Blocks 40″x 57″
I had 6 leftover blocks from the CANDYLAND cover quilt. Not wanting just to toss them, I set them aside. It became another quilt-in-a-tray finish. I joggled them in a column like SUNDANCE and LOYAL FOLLOWING – and added the long strips to either side. I tried to use a solid white or white on white – and it looked good. But I can’t bear to have a white quilt–too impractical. The ombre zigzag came the rescue. Busy, but I always do busy. I would maybe move the pieced column more to the left, but that is the way the center of the zigzag fell and once cut, too late.
