BE MY BABY Hoffman 41″x 45″
I had a little left of the digital butterfly print that Hoffman gave me, and decided to use it all up somehow. Their batiks look good with digitals, so I took some of them and made the 4 Patches for BE MY BABY. Using up all I had of the fabrics, I ended up with 8 each. I did not have enough butterflies to go all around as a border. So I made the patchwork rows one block longer. Then I divided the butterfly print by 5, and added it only lengthwise as lattice and border. I think the result is pretty, and I used up 7 pieces of fabric, when I count back and binding–mission accomplished.
