GOLD MEDAL Willow 42″x 52″
I started another trilogy of 6 fat quarter patterns made from yet another Anna Griffin fat quarter stack. There were 6 blacks and a couple golds. I found another gold print from my scrap bag that gave me 8 of the 9 5″ squares needed for the bottom section in GOLD MEDAL. This pattern is fun to put together and the rows of 5″ squares can be colored in many different ways–all one color, two colors alternating rows, three colors alternating rows, three colors in different sections (like this one), a different color in each row, scraps, a charm pack. It all depends on what you have to work with!
