CHERISH Daisy Chain 41″x 57″
Banyan Batiks gave me their Daisy Chain fabrics to make samples. I am totally smitten with this group, especially the way the border print is shaded with the denser daisies out on the edge. I made several samples that take advantage of the ombre-like shading. This CHERISH was fun to show off the effect. I debated whether to put that very light pink from the group into the sample. I wanted to use it, but was afraid it would stick out. I used it anyway, and it sticks out. Oh, well, on to another quilt, and the colors are still pretty.
