DARCEY Black and White Batik 43″x 54″
DARCEY is a sister to SAHARA and SEASHELL. It uses the same pieces sewn into vertical rows. For DARCEY we do two columns instead of three, and add the background strips to give it a floating stacked bricks look.
I had a group of twelve 1/3 yard cuts, in these blacks and greys. I thought I would challenge myself to make quilts from it, and came up with three. We’ll see them over the next three days. They all came out great–how can we go wrong with black and white?
