GRANADA City Girl 48″x 60″
In my house/garage cleaning, I found a bag of 3 1/2″ strips from the now-at-least-decade- old City Girl collection by Kitty Yoshida for Benartex. It was one of my all-time favorites from the early fresh modern looks, so I was thrilled to be sewing with it again. I made 18 blocks for GRANADA from 18 strips, and the centers from 4 more strips plus some scraps. I didn’t want to do a border or the half blocks, so used a fat quarter to cut 4 8″x 9 1/2″ to fill the half-block space. I love this group and how this quilt finished. Super fast, too–can’t wait to make another.
